    In the subject? Probably.
What relationship this woman’s body there with the DNA strand? It seems to go out dancing with it or compose with it a kind of flower. In any case, I see the expression of a link between humans and their genetic component. I can imagine that in the spirit of the artist, the DNA refers to the ability to voluntarily change the living, to manipulate and therefore to work in a transhumanistic way. However, this is not explicit.
I can also inspire from the position of the woman, dancer or practitioner of Tai Chi. The hand firmly oriented toward the bottom tells me once again the commitment of a certain direction. But which one?
If I add the title, DNA Breakout, it is a bit better. I now have the idea of free mutation, the claim for free access to the mutation, which is a real h+ thought.
As for aesthetics, I like it. Good graphic work.

    Dans le sujet ? Probablement.
Bon travail graphique.

The combination of intention of beauty represented by the women with DNA , in my first understanding, it is a recognition of human’s initiative on aesthetic category, or we can call it a transformation about beauty. From the deep intention to understand, the women represent the sensory beauty, and DNA represents the intrinsic beauty of functionality, we can see the beauty of the senses with the inherent functionality toward a kind of coordination, or call it as a combination of an order of beauty. Indeed, as Marc mentioned in Tai Chi, if we use the Yin Yang in Tai Chi as a comparison, we can say the Yin is an implicit inner beauty, Yang is an external beauty of appearance. The combination of both can reach the order of beauty. Although we can’t expect all H+ intentions are revealed by one work, as we could not see the expression on the spiritualness and psychologicalness (of course, the premise is that we ignore the impact of DNA).However, the work has expanded the space in human aesthetic perception from a pure sense upgrading to the reunification of sensory and functional aesthetic perception. Only in this respect, this work is one harvest that I am pleased in our project.

from the series Digital Bodies :

    Digital Bodies
The arrival of virtual environments and augmented realities have had a distinct impact on the way we interact with the world. These types of simulations cause new relationships between the observer and what is being observed and affect our senses and experiences in ways that are more dramatic and monumental than ever before.

The Digital Bodies series considers what the future world might be like, both visually and experientially, when the real and the virtual collide. The hybrid of synthetic and organic realities is already underway, and the effects of this synthesis will reveal interesting changes in the way we go about our everyday lives. Not only will our ways of doing things change substantially but the tactility of our contact with the environment will alter as well.

There are many possibilities that we could imagine occurring in the near and distant future. The ability to control robotic entities remotely, capture, translate, and output from neural firings into language, create avatars and interact with them in virtual worlds, access directions to any location in the world through our cell phones, or even learn how busy a particular cafe is through augmented reality applications. These are minor changes; yet, they have opened up access to a more united habitat; breaking down traditional borders and opening up a network of information that is incalculably immense.

Eventually the separation between the real world and the virtual will become seamless as we slide from one mode of being into another.

3.5.) Changing the perception of smell

Scentsory Design® is a film that explores the fusion of ‘Emotional Fashion’ with health and olfaction science to create a new concept in perfumery. It is a multi-sensory journey describing the future of fashion and fragrance that goes beyond current microencapsulated techniques, through the inclusion of sensors and microfluidics that sense and respond to psychological and environmental changes. Inspired by the human circulation system and the defence mechanism in bombardier beetles, the purpose is to produce an ‘aroma rainbow’ scent symphony around the user, that changes with emotion.

Scentsory Design® is a collection of responsive clothing that adds more sensations into the fashion palette in ways that create radical new properties with real benefit. By choosing scent as a tool to enhance the quality and beauty of life, and improve mental and physical wellbeing, the wearer acts on visual cues or detects scent signals, allowing immediate information.

We are entering a new age of perfumery that will have a radical impact on mental health. Scent has the power to evoke emotions because the olfactory sense impacts directly with the limbic system (our emotional center). Olfactory substances have the power to change electrical brain activity to increase an individual’s ‘wellbeing’ The aim is to produce an intimate ‘scent bubble’ that ‘pulses’ benefit chemicals in controlled ways responding to personal needs. This allows for efficient scent delivery that is targeted to specific parts of the body. The users confidence in their visual identity is thus enhanced by sensory, psychological and medical wellbeing
